We collect only the information needed to manage your booking and communicate visit details. This includes:

• Your name, contact details, and email address

• Emergency contact details provided at booking

• Information about your dog(s) including breed and vaccination status

• For restricted/exempt breeds: copies of exemption certificates and insurance proof

• Any optional notes you choose to share — such as behavioural notes, health concerns, or allergies

• Basic site usage data via cookies (see Section 4 below)

• CCTV footage — recorded on-site for safety and security

Payment information: All payment details are handled securely by Stripe and PayPal. We never store full card numbers or bank details on our systems.

2. How we use your information

We use your personal information only for these lawful purposes:

• To book and manage your session — including sending confirmations, reminders, and gate codes — lawful basis: performance of contract

• Safety & eligibility — verifying declarations, breed information, and vaccination status — lawful basis: legitimate interests & legal obligation

• To respond to enquiries and communicate important updates — lawful basis: performance of contract

• SMS reminders — standard text message rates from your mobile provider may apply. Delivery subject to your carrier's coverage and location.

3. Data sharing & third parties

We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal data for marketing purposes.

We share information only where strictly necessary to run your booking:

• Acuity Scheduling — booking management system

• Stripe / PayPal — secure payment processing

• Squarespace — website hosting & functionality

All our service providers are bound by strict data protection contracts and may only process your data as instructed by us.

4. Cookies

We use Squarespace’s cookie banner. Non‑essential cookies are only activated after you click "Accept". You may manage preferences or decline non‑essential cookies at any time — see our full Cookie Policy for details.

5. How long we keep your information

• Booking records: 12 months after your last visit — then securely deleted

• Optional health/behaviour notes: retained only as long as relevant for safety purposes, then removed

• Financial records: retained as required by UK tax law

6. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
