K9 Playtime Terms & Conditions.
1. BOOKING & POLICY
Payment is due at the time of booking to confirm your session.
We accept payment by Debit/Credit Card (via Stripe) and PayPal. No booking is confirmed until both payment is received AND your booking has been manually reviewed and approved by K9 Playtime.
Sessions are 55 minutes of exclusive private use, allowing a 5‑minute buffer between bookings to clear the bay.
Arrive at your booked time — no early entry permitted. Late arrival does not extend your session. If the bay is still occupied at your allocated start time, please remain in your vehicle and contact us on 07575 817200. Wait outside until the previous guest has departed and the area is fully vacated.
Authorised bookings only — access is permitted only for the person named on the booking.
You must be aged 18 or over to book. Any guest under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
Bookings are personal and non‑transferable — may not be re‑sold, passed on, or sub‑let without prior written consent.
Gate access code will be sent to you within 2 hours prior to the session start time. The code must NOT be shared with any third party.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will not be refunded, including no‑shows. Bookings are not considered confirmed until reviewed and approved — approval status does not alter our cancellation policy.
Base booking includes up to 4 dogs. Additional dogs may be added at an extra charge — see pricing for details. Maximum 8 dogs per session.
All breeds must be declared at the time of booking. Failure to disclose breed or provide false information will result in refusal of entry — no refund will be given in either case.
All customers must declare if their dog is an XL Bully or any breed subject to UK legal restrictions at the time of booking. Full requirements and documentation rules are outlined in our Banned & Restricted Breeds section.
We reserve the right to refuse entry or require any person to leave the premises for breach of these Terms.
2. ACCESS & SITE RULES
Please ensure the gate is fully closed and secured before releasing your dog. Dogs must remain on a lead until inside the field and the gate is secure.
Respect our neighbours — please do not allow your dog(s) to bark excessively. Keep noise to a considerate level.
Smoking, vaping, alcohol, or illegal substances are strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises.
Parking and land use is strictly at your own risk. K9 Playtime accepts no liability for vehicles, parking, or personal property.
Parking is limited to 2 cars per booking.
We recommend reverse-parking on arrival — this keeps your vehicle's boot facing the park, allowing easier access for you and your dog.
Only booked attendees and their dogs are permitted in the bay.
Upon departure, please ensure the gate is fully secured and scramble the code.
3. OBSTACLE & EQUIPMENT RULES
Obstacles are for dog use only — not for people.
Be mindful of your dog’s ability — assess suitability before use.
One dog on any obstacle at a time — never allow multiple dogs on equipment together.
Do not misuse obstacles or equipment — use only as intended. Report any damage or safety concerns immediately.
Any damage caused to the park or equipment must be reported and paid for in full.
Use of all equipment is entirely at your own risk.
4. HEALTH & HYGIENE
All dogs must be fully vaccinated, non-aggressive, and in good health — free from illness or contagious conditions.
Do NOT attend if your dog has had vomiting or diarrhoea — wait 48 hours symptom-free before visiting.
Do NOT attend if showing kennel cough symptoms — wait 14 days symptom-free before visiting.
All dogs must be up to date with flea & worm treatments.
No bitches in season. Puppies welcome from 6 months+ when fully vaccinated.
Please allow one hour before or after feeding before vigorous exercise to help reduce the risk of bloat. Owners are responsible for determining their dog’s readiness to exercise.
Our training bay is designed primarily for medium to large dogs. Small breeds are welcome — at the owner's discretion.

5. CLEANLINESS & PROPERTY
Please pick up after your dog(s) and dispose of waste in the bin provided. Complimentary poo bags are available for your convenience.
Human food is welcome — please take ALL waste and leftover items with you when you leave. Only small training treats are permitted; please remove any uneaten food.
Anything you bring into the bay must be taken out with you — including toys, leads, bowls, and personal items.
Lost property will be kept for up to one month. Unclaimed items will then be donated or disposed of responsibly.
Our parking area is currently gravel — please be aware a few stray stones may occasionally find their way in despite our best efforts. To help prevent your dog swallowing stones, please keep them on a lead from your vehicle until fully inside the secure field and keep a watchful eye during your visit.
6. LIABILITY & SAFETY
Owner supervision is required at all times.
24-hour CCTV is in operation for the safety of all visitors and dogs. Entry implies consent to recording.
Please inspect the field upon arrival. If you have any concerns regarding safety, fencing, or suitability — do not enter and contact us immediately.
Every effort has been made to secure the field, however, we cannot guarantee it is entirely escape-proof. You are responsible for your dog at all times.
Use of the park is entirely at your own risk. K9 Playtime accepts no liability for injury, illness, loss, or damage to dogs, people, vehicles, or personal property — including while using obstacles or equipment.
It is the owner’s responsibility to assess their dog’s suitability for all areas and equipment.
7. DATA & PRIVACY
Any personal information collected during booking is used only to manage your reservation and communicate visit details — including by email or SMS text message.
Standard text message rates from your mobile provider may apply. Message delivery is subject to your carrier’s coverage and location.
We will never sell, share, or pass your data to third parties for marketing purposes.
Data is held securely and retained only as long as legally required.

BANNED & RESTRICTED BREEDS
Banned / Restricted Types Include (but not limited to): Pit Bull Terrier type, Japanese Tosa type, Dogo Argentino type, Fila Brasileiro type, and XL Bully type — plus any crossbreeds matching their physical characteristics.
These breeds and any type subject to UK legal restrictions are welcome only when fully compliant with all current Government legislation.
Required Documentation (First Visit Only):
A copy of your dog’s Exemption Certificate and valid Public Liability Insurance must be provided BEFORE your first visit. Documents may be uploaded during booking or emailed to docs@k9pt.co.uk.
Please allow up to 48 hours for confirmation. We will reply to confirm your documents have been received and approved. Bookings are not confirmed until we have approved your documents.
If you have not received confirmation of your documents being approved within 24 hours of your booked session, please text the word: DOCS to 07575 817200 and we will check their status for you.
Documentation is required once only — once verified, copies will be stored securely on file for future visits. You must ensure all documentation remains in date and valid. You will not be permitted to attend or re-enter with expired or out-of-date documents.
Mandatory Requirements:
• The dog must be microchipped and neutered in line with Government rules.
• A strict 1:1 handler-to-dog ratio applies at all times, except for dogs from the same household — who may attend together with a minimum of one handler.
• Arrival & Departure: The dog must be muzzled and on a lead at all times outside the secure area. Lead and muzzle may be removed only once the gate is fully closed and secured. Muzzle and lead must be replaced before opening the gate to leave.
• Same Household: Muzzle and lead may be removed for all dogs once inside the secured field.
• Different Households: If dogs from more than one household are present, the exempt breed must remain muzzled and on a lead at all times — even inside the field.
Owner’s Legal Responsibility:
It remains the owner’s sole legal responsibility to ensure their dog is fully compliant with all current UK legislation. K9 Playtime accepts no liability for non-compliance.
Misrepresentation:
Any person who provides false information regarding their dog's breed, status, or legal compliance will be refused entry immediately with no refund. We reserve the right to ban permanently from future bookings and report non-compliance to the appropriate authorities.
We reserve the right to refuse entry at any time if legal requirements are not fully met.
